Skin Clinic
The skin clinic renovation project in Columbia was a comprehensive undertaking by Kirk Commercial Construction (KCC) to transform a 13,564 sq/ft space into the desired vision for Columbia Skin Clinic. KCC began by demolishing the existing space, providing a clean slate to bring the client's vision to life.
Throughout the renovation, KCC installed new walls, ceilings, flooring, and custom millwork, ensuring that every aspect of the clinic's interior was carefully crafted and tailored to the client's requirements. The construction of the 13 exam rooms and 11 procedure rooms was executed in close collaboration with the medical staff, considering the medical conditions and the practical needs for efficient workflow.
The project also encompassed standard inquiries such as installing bathrooms, plumbing, electrical, and mechanical systems. KCC paid particular attention to the electrical work, which was crucial for supporting the specialized equipment in the lab, exam rooms, and procedure rooms. Installing a technical oxygen line to facilitate specific equipment and procedures further demonstrated KCC's commitment to meeting the clinic's unique requirements.
To complete the project, KCC constructed a medical closet, an MD office, and a nurse's station, providing essential spaces for storage, administrative tasks, and medical staff operations. The final touch was the installation of custom frosted glass panels featuring the client's logo, which added a personalized and professional touch to the clinic's aesthetic.
Through meticulous demolition, construction, and attention to detail, KCC successfully transformed the Columbia Skin Clinic into a modern, functional, and visually appealing facility. The renovated space offers an ideal environment for medical professionals and patients seeking quality skin care services.
