Devine Street Bank Branch and Office Renovation
Kirk Commercial Construction recently completed this Columbia, SC office renovation. The project involved a complicated design-build renovation of a 1972 three-story office building for a bank client.
The work was phased to accommodate an existing tenant in the building that remained in business during the entire renovation project. All three floors of this 50+-year-old building were completely renovated to accommodate new tenants on two floors as well as a new bank branch and new corporate offices for the bank.
Some of the updates included -
- new restrooms
- HVAC systems
- electrical/lighting updates
- wall relocation
- new interior finishes (including ceilings, wall finishes, casework, storefront, elevator updates, stairwells, and doors/hardware)
- access control
- new awnings/entrances
- replacement of windows
- exterior paint
We also added an ATM kiosk, drive-thru teller window, new perimeter fencing, new parking lot, and site drainage. This project also required asbestos renovation and demolition of an adjacent building to add the required parking for the project.
